ARTIST STATEMENT:
Kassidy is a motivated young artist intent on furthering her understanding of art disciplines with tertiary studies in fine arts currently. Kassidy is enjoying expansive results upon her arts practice by developing further from her initial infatuation with acrylic paint, to include a multiple disciplinary approach to the creation of artworks. Kassidy’s dedication to developing and learning has set her on a trajectory of self-discovery from her high-school foundations, majoring in visual arts, to Cert III in design fundamentals and now Diploma of Visual Arts—all leading Kassidy to this moment in time. Kassidy is the worthy recipient of the Major Award for the Youth Category in the Blue Mountains Print Prize 2021, hosted by the Blue Mountains Creative Arts Centre and sponsored by Nationwide Curating. We are looking forward to working with Kassidy this year and sharing her progress with NWC supporters.

A 'Certificate of Authenticity' and artist statement will accompany all sold artworks.
